Suzanne Pleshette

 

Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died January 19 in 2008. She was an American voice actress, actor, TV, and film director. Pleshette began her career in theatre, and she appeared in films in the late 1950s. She then appeared in films that were notable, such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Pleshette was also a part of numerous TV productions, usually as guest performers. Pleshette was nominated for numerous Emmy Awards for her performance in the role of Emily Hartley, on The Bob Newhart from 1972 to 1978.
